‘Like The Outside Would Be Light Blue’ refers to Daniel Palillo’s recent residency in New York where Palillo spent a lot of time inside his apartment. The light blue sky and all the playful characters he would meet in the city occupied his thoughts while it rained continuously. The presented works represent his expectations of what the city had to offer outside of his four walls.
Daniel Palillo was born 1981 in Helsinki, where he lives and works. He has recently exhibited his work at Powerlong Museum (Shanghai), Museum of Contemporary Art (Chengdu) and Times Art Museum (Beijing).
‘Like The Outside Would Be Light Blue’ exhibition at Garden Room from 7th to 30th of November.
